  When this movie was first released, I saw it in my criminology class. We were discussing our opinions on the death sentence. Some opposed while others didn't. While watching the film, being uncomfortable, feeling the characters anger and frustration. We cried a lot. Revisting this movie. All I could think of is "nothing changed"

  "You must BOUNCE on it...CRAZZZY STYLE"

  Ok but seriously I was in the theater in absolute admiration. Vampirism at it's core is all about societal taboos, which is probably why it quickly turned into a romantic cliche at some point. But themes such as despair, death, fear, abuse, and most importantly sex. Vampirism, the lack of body autonomy. Nosferatu perfectly encapsulates all of those, fully embodying what horror is.
