  in a nutshell, the women in this movie do the heavy lifting & help salvage it (because the main storyline sure as hell ain't)

  it's funny how the relationship story & subsequent romance the movie revolves around is lackluster and boring, compared to the one that's heavily implied. in fact it's jo's, increasingly evident, romantic feelings towards hallie that is the most memorable thing about the story of the movie, & helps create the plot. i despise nearly everything about how it manifests.…

  this movie is my joker.

  words fail to do justice to how i feel, but,

  the amount of colour added years to my lifespan. the score gave me the will to live. the animation blessed my eyes. halle bailey, star with the voice of an angel, once again won my heart. so grateful she was the one to play this role. the movie was beautiful, it was funny, it was touching, it is special.

  walked out of the theatre a new person.

  i don't know how or why exactly, but i just know this movie helped heal and make joyous my inner child.
