I wrote a paper on this analyzing how the film’s editing adds meaning to the movie. Examining it definitely made me appreciate it more. While imo the character of Mona is somewhat unlikeable, the actress did an amazing job of acting her. Mona doesn’t talk a lot and the film doesn’t give much context through dialogue, so you’re left to really interpret her physical expressions and the actress is able to portray a lot through that alone.
