They truly don't make honest heartfelt films like this anymore (well at least in Hollywood). If this film was made today, it's messaging would be so sanitized and rammed down your throat. A simple love story between a waitress and a cook? Oh no, that's too 'povo'.

I honestly don't get it. Out of the many IP reboots in recent years these last two Ghostbusters films are rare ones that have been done with respect, are well written and fun. Yet the reception around them is lack luster. I seriously worry for mainstream cinema. Is it not simple enough? not PC enough? not enough action or sex?
