  A fantastic depiction of one of the most popular and infamous people in Punjabi history. Great storytelling, casting and costume design make this a good film. However, some editing choices and montages are quite questionable. As well, the film leaves a bit to be desired in the way of characters, like Tikki, and Amarjot, who was so essential to Chamkila's success. Nevertheless, a great showing from Diljit and the rest of the cast.
