But I think unfortunately someone like Kelly legitimately has a personality disorder like NPD which you can’t fix.
It’s literally a condition where you can’t admit fault. You can’t take responsibility. The empathy isn’t there. He can’t feel it.
I actually disagree with Andrew’s belief that his actions were caused by some of those significant life events. Could they have made his behaviour worse? Sure. But ultimately this guy was financially irresponsible and a bad father the entire time. And that’s what led to this.
