twice the emotions in this movie! i wish there was a movie that didn’t have so many of them, like maybe featuring just joy, anger, sadness, disgust, and fear. i wish riley was better at hockey, she could have really made it without her friends holding her back.

Howl's Moving Castle 2004
I love the story, even if it gets a little confusing at points. Miyazaki creates a wonderful picture about love during a war expressing it through different aged characters and beautiful imagery. The characters are likeable and each have some sort of depth to them even if they do not have a lot of screen time. The soundtrack is my personal favorite. “The Flower Garden” by Joe Hisaishi is sex to my ears in the most genuine way possible.
This is my favorite Ghibli film followed by Princess Mononoke.
