The Matrix 1999
Not just a useful math space, a space for exploring a new world. A world parallel perhaps to our own (if infinite universes exist, do we have superpowers in some of them?) but linked beautifully to reality with KR's convincing performance in this delightful coming-of-age/finding-yourself film. The film left the world with an entire new theoretical paradigm of reality, and we are thankful enough just for that. But it steps beyond that into genuine entertainment. A thrill. An inspiration.
