Dune 2021
I read through the first book within the namesakes series prior to watching. The narrative does exclude a lot of the mental growth and power Paul begins to amass in the fall of house Atredies. Sound track and world building is pretty spot on. Finished the first book and set to watch part 2 soon.

First review within LetterBox; The most powerful parts of this series revolve around the selflessness in the cleanup effort. From miners accepting their health being placed in jeopardy to a young boy being drafted to hunt infected animals. The struggles and harm to the public make you despise the dishonesty and incompetence of those responsible for poor engineering and senseless cost cutting.
