Heretic 2024
Without Grant’s captivating performance, this script would’ve fallen way harder on its face. Honestly, it’s a decent watch but unfortunately predictable as hell. It’s clinging onto a 6 for me and could go down on a rewatch I’m sure, but I was surprised with how entertained I was even with being able to guess everything that happens next.

The Brutalist 2024
The Brutalist at it's core is an authentic representation of post World War 2 immigration to The United States of America. Having listened to the stories of my grandparents escaping occupied Germany post WWII and seeking refuge and a new start, this film hits an emotional chord for me. At the same time, this film is very relevant given many of today's issues and stories from around the world.
The first major applaud here for me has already been stated…
