Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones

Set in what I think is the most fun Star Wars time period. Attack of the Clones is another heavily flawed but fun/unique movie. The same issues from Phantom Menace carry over like the overuse of dated CGI, questionable acting and slow plot points.

Action is top notch. I for one enjoyed seeing Yoda do flips. Obi Wan is once again a scene stealer. Padme and Anakin is still a cringe couple. Dooku makes for a decent villain, with one…

It was definitely memorable with standout moments and some crazy twists along the way. It seems better as a party watch to gross out newcomers. Performances are great, though I can't remember anyone's name. Visuals are nice.

Did it weird me out? Yes. Did I enjoy watching the movie? Hesitant yes. Do I remember key moments from it? Yes. Do I have any desire to rewatch? Fuck no. Do i think it's a good movie? Undecided.

In terms of twistedness: graveyard soil banging>drinking sperm bathwater>eating out period girl. Director needs to be put on a watch list.

I knew from the opening this movie would be a banger. Of the Batman movies it has the best atmosphere, visuals, maybe music as the dark knight movies have a good score, the best Batman (not the best Bruce Wayne though), the second best villain (we all know the best one), the best batmobile. It's at its best when its Batman vs Riddler.

I read that Batman is supposed to be the real personality and Bruce the persona. This feels…

Having never seen any other film in the franchise. It was a fun generic adventure. De-aged Harrison Ford punching Nazis was a good time. There's nothing here that hasn't been done a billion times in Hollywood but I did like the closing scene. Seemed like a sweet family reunion moment and I didnt even watch the other adventures of the family.
