Finally the film genre owns itself as a comedy in addition to a super hero film. Taika nails the combination of humor and action in this Thor film. Unfortunately not enough new solid content or consequence moments to really help me love it.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
More terrible writing and bad timed jokes made the characters feel terrible. The appearance of superman killed the one interesting aspect of the movie: a world where God is actually dead. When superman joins the league it makes every other character, especially Batman and his lack of superpowers, seem completely worthless. Had superman remained dead, forcing the league to solve its problems and forcing Batman to be the detective he was meant to be, perhaps we could have had a good movie. But it's not all bad. The action sequences were great and the cinematography has vastly improved from Batman v Superman.
