Never really gets where I want it to but I still enjoyed it. Kieran brings something to it that i feel Jesse didn’t initially capture on the page, and I think it makes it feel a lot more real. I liked jesses little dinner monologue but every time he was on screen he gave me anxiety !!!

This was not good for my obsession with middle aged men !!! Adrien Brody in those sweaters and Guy Pearce with that vaudeville villain accent 🫨
Very beautiful, first half had me SAT. Score was incredible. Brody’s performance was perfection. I couldn’t get over how much Zsofia looked like Daniel Radcliffe though.

Subtle, still, lovely. This hit close to home. The constant battle between romanticism and realism is so wonderfully felt within each character’s performance. I could hear every thought rushing through their heads in those moments of quiet.
I sobbed violently in the last scene. Worst thing is everybody is good here, the choice isn’t easy. It’s bittersweet and nuanced just like real life. :’/
