A much weaker Bong film than Parasite. The constant narration really drags in the first act of the movie which is also plagued by a multitude of plot lines and characters that are forgotten by the end of the film. Unfortunately these unfinished plot lines eat into screen time that could have been better used for more profound moments like the duality of the two Mickeys or even the basic moral dilemma of cloning. Kalki 2898-AD 2024
Mixing the Hindu mythos with the science fiction genre was truly a recipe for a great movie. The plot also had several points where it took an original turn I didn’t expect. Can’t wait to see how they expand upon the universe and mythology in the sequel!
