NYAD 2023
I just love the message of this story. When I am 60, I will be revisiting this one and I feel very inspired after watching this film. I also love seeing a movie about queer friends. We need more of that!! Definitely has its cheesy moments (the cancer beat felt forced and the flashbacks visually were off putting). The open ocean scares me so I will never attempt something like this but when I hit 60 I wonder what my Cuba to Florida will be.
