This movie has an undeniable charm, largely due to the fantastic lead performances.

Combined with stunning production design and marvelous cinematography, you might think I’m about to give it a glowing review. However, this is one of the worst screenplays I’ve ever seen put to film. None of the events flow naturally; this isn’t a plot so much as a five-year-old saying, And then this happened, and then this happened, and then this happened. It’s not a story.

There are some good ideas here, but the script needed at least two or three more drafts.

Time to use that media studies degree.

A great little absurdist movie in the vein of the original SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, packed with big comedy and stunning animation. One of the rare films that delivers a true belly laugh. It expertly blends the classic sensibilities of Looney Tunes with modern shitposting humor, plus a surprisingly effective dose of child-friendly David Cronenberg-style body horror. Just when you think you have it figured out, it throws you a curveball. Go support it in theaters if you can!

Also, release Coyote vs. Acme, you corporate, money-hungry, blood-sucking cowards!

I can say with confidence that this is the most overrated movie of all time. I am not denying it's impact on cinema, no, not at all in fact it is very well made and has a rich subtext to explore it just left me feeling underwhelmed, but I guess that can happen when you are told this is literally the best movie ever made. Go watch rear window instead.
