Ready or Not 2019
VERY fun watch, one of the better black comedy movies I've seen in quite a while. We do love a strong female protagonist.

I've watched many zombie films, from the serious ones like the old style Romero ones, to the less serious "Boy Eats Girl" and "Warm Bodies", even down to the infamous "Brad Pitt Zombie Film". but this is by far my favorite one. Come Play 2020
Another movie I viewed as part of my group's Halloween movie night, and it was quite fun with a fair amount of tension and suspense in the first 60% of the film, however at the end it becomes a bit more action/chase oriented and I felt that while it was good, it detracted from the previously established spooky atmosphere. Also not to be discounted is the way it portrays a nonberbal autistic child, which isn't normally tackled super great in media, but here was handled quite fairly.

Child's Play 1988
Excellent movie, and with it being part of horror cinematography history, Absolutely love the fact that they chose not to show the doll moving for a large portion of the film (which I'm sure was a combination of technological limitations of the time and the creative directions), but it does fall a bit off the mark with the whole magic plotline.
