This movie really leans into the "wars" aspect of its title. It felt like the focus was more on the special effects 💥 than anything else.

Elphaba served! 💚
For the first half of the movie I wanted to fight Glinda! It wasn’t until the ballroom scene where I was like “oh? Maybe I’m being too harsh?” But then at end, I was conflicted.
On the other hand! I love Elphaba!!!! She is an icon, she is the moment!
I thought Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande were casted PERFECTLY for this movie.
… I will say I didn’t like Jonathan Bailey’s weird highlight moment he had going on with his hair but at the same time it’s Jonathan Bailey! He can’t do anything wrong 🩵
