  A dull affair. These people are competent actors and directors. I’ve seen them do other things. It’s like the directors hate Netflix and told the actors “do it again but this time remove any emotion from the line. Make it obvious you’re acting. It’s not like anyone cares. Netflix don’t care. The world sucks. Let’s make it worse. No. Again. I still felt something that time.”

  It’s pretty looking but with that money what wouldn’t be?

  Sonic the Hedgehog 2020

  This was a lot better on rewatch. Jim Carrey having a brilliant time. I really like James Marsden and he should be in more stuff. He has a lovely genuine everyman quality that’s quite rare.

  This film is superb.  Very reminiscent of Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and I am 100% okay with that. Loved the premise and stupidity of the humour. Great film.

  I quite like contained ‘one set’ movies that run like plays. 12 Angry Men being an all-time favourite film.
  I should probably go watch more theatre. 
  That said, this is pedestrian and loaded with cliches. i don’t think things need to feel cheap as this. It’s directed like a bottle episode of a 90s tv show. 
  Serviceable fodder though. Enjoyable enough.
