Once again, watching movies with your kids… it’s something special. Fun to revisit these as an adult.

Watched it with the fam. Rowan got scared at parts, but was brave. He was engaged throughout the whole film. Mabel is cute.

I found the spirits vomiting, strangely beautiful. All the muck, dirt, grime, junk, and corruption viscerally pouring out of their bodies, getting cleaned. We all want that.

Watching this older, a lot to the symbolism makes sense now. Good times.

Watching this with the wife hit so hard. I can’t wait to run around the woods w/ my kids. ♥️♥️

I love how it displays the child like spirit. It’s pure vibe. The sisters motivation is simply to have fun and see their mom. The dilemma of the story isn’t really fully known until almost half way into the story. You get little glimpses of it here and there, but the main energy the whole time is exploring, adventure, summersaults,…

It’s aged really well. The colors. The outfits. Brought back fond Yac memories.

It’s a time capsule of how mainstream culture viewed male and female relationships. Surprised it’s so unanimously loved due to it not being compatible with the woke perspective, but am happy that it’s loved.

Also, I was really impressed with how a lot of the story is executed just through facial expressions. Great directing!!
