Natalie Portman was already the greatest at that age. The best acting I’ve seen in a child with Dicaprio’s in "What’s eating Gilbert Grape", altho I think Dicaprio’s was easier for a child.
Great film but the best part of the film are the actings, the main 3 characters are performed perfect.
It’s just blow minding. The way Yorgos uses all types of metaphors and takes them to an extreme point in order to explain how stupid we can become to please other people. It’s a complex movie, it’s really hard to get the message if you just seen it, but after a couple of times and a bit of thinking you can clearly understand what he wants to communicate, wich is that sensation that nowadays we are always trying to please…
Not a masterpiece, but good choice if you don’t know what to watch.
