The Holy Mountain 1973
Despite its justified anger towards basically all evils the film manages to find hope somehow?
The film is also gorgeous. Literally every frame is incredible. Sets, props, costumes are all masterpieces. The sound design and soundtrack work wonders throughout the film.
There are so many incredible lines throughout the film as well. And a cool monkey that wears a shirt for one shot.
When you look past the extremety of the film there's something incredibly moving in it that I cannot quite describe.
