  Greg Mottola is a genius. Never before has JMS (LI JMS) been so accurately portrayed in cinema. S/o Anne Meara she was stellar and so was the whole ensemble. There’s something so tragic about the fate of the male characters in this movie that I can’t quite put my finger on. Carl is great as the hapless aspiring intellectual and Stanley tucci’s fit of pent up undirected rage was spot on, but it’s hard not to empathize with Pat McNamara above them all.
