The documentary finished filming in October 2023, a testament to the myth that this conflict started on Oct 7th. Yet it also doesn’t end. Because it can’t end until the occupation ends. When Palestine is free.

May this film end in our lifetimes.

Man I have complicated feelings about this film. From a filmmaking perspective, so much of this is incredible. The performances, script, and cinematography is amazing. There are 1 or 2 sequences in here that are some of my favorites of the year. Normally, I would give a film with this much talent oozing out of every frame a 4.5 or even 5 stars and be hailing it as a modern classic. Too bad the core of this film is rotten…

Simply one of the best films humanity has ever made. A story of human perseverance in the face of peril, of what we can accomplish as a species with unity, and a call for collectivization as not just an ideal but a necessity. Of course the Chinese made this.

Major Bong hit! I think him and I would get along quite nicely! If only I spoke Korean!!

Enjoyed this so much more than I thought! Fassbender and Blanchett are incredible together. Loved the switch in direction this film took in the second half. Really took me for a spin and I had a great time! A perfect bite-sized movie that I wish I would find more often!

Robert Pattinson is so good in this, as is the rest of the cast. I think the story could’ve been a bit better and a tad shorter but still a good time. The unsubtly of Bong’s movie leans into the comedy a lil. Overall, I would call this a mid-Bong hit!
