A very gripping film that maintains a somewhat miserable slow burn. Every shot is very intentional in it's visual poetry. This movie is weird and is exactly my brand of weird at that. The Man Who Would Be King 1975
Very enjoyable movie overall, and while it does have a healthy dose of criticism of British colonialism I felt like it still had plenty of colonial attitudes in it's portrayal of the primitive peoples. The performances from the main duo were very good with plenty of jabs at the gaudy British identity that had me at a full belly laugh.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker 2019
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
A very disappointing conclusion to the 9 film Skywalker saga and a clumsy follow up to both the Force Awakens and the Last Jedi. Weirdly enough there is both a lot to say about the film but very little to actually take away from it.
Just for context, I quite enjoyed both the Force Awakens and the Last Jedi, with the latter of the two being my favorite in the franchise despite its shortcomings.
