The Brutalist 2024
On my walk home I looked up at the buildings around me and thought about the lives of the people who designed and made these giants. This film made me think about the world around me in a different way and the most special films do. An enchanting and heartbreaking story of the American dream. Adrien Brody puts out a performance just as large as the structures his character Lazlo creates. The direction is top notch. The cinematography was just spectacular. Seeing this on 70mm was a true gift.
