The Boy and the Heron 2023
I can see why Miyazaki had to make this, it's a culmination of every theme he's ever cared about. I thought it wasn't gonna make sense but it just kept going and eventually it all clicked into place. You can build your utopia you can run and cling and try to remember everything but utopia doesn't exist everything dies and letting go is good. Go home.
