  A fantastic feminist movie that I believe should be shown in all intro to gender studies classes. Elle is an icon that cemented into my brain and, remembering the first time I watched it, into my mother’s brain as well. The first movie where the female character spoke not only to the little girl that liked pink and feared the future but the woman who has been belittled her whole life to see a young woman stand up for herself.…
