In a Violent Suburbs 2024
Wow! Watching this was both a privilege and a curse. The elements of cinematography highlighted the integral moments of the film. I found the colour grading enticing and eye grabbing. Although I find the most compelling part of this piece of cinema, to be, the cameo of Rufus MDS. His performance was astonishing, life changing and euphoric. However, I will say, the sheer amount of dogs out was disheartening and took away from the mise en scene. While it had the bare bones of a film, I wish more thought was put into making it child friendly.
