  My all time favorite Al Pacino's performance
  I'm putting this up to the top of my list and Serpico really deserved all the praises. Not being a cop/officer enthusiast but I questioned the fairness of good and evil for quite a bit in the movie. The key thing is, reaching through Frank Serpico's journal, this is how a biographical film should be made or not at all. IMO, a very underrated title of its performances.

  The perfect portrayal of greed and losing one's self for it.
  I've come too far and I don't even remember why is what I felt about Ernest's character. I got into this and don't really have an idea it were going to be a 3 and a half hours movie.   Disappointment? 
  It's really hard for me to rate this as it is. The movie would be better on a longer runtime, I'd presumed. The first thing I would say is I don't really care so much about how they wanted to portray Napoleon but the whole movie just felt so rushed with little to no detail on some of the important events. Yes, the cinematography is very perfect in my opinion but that's all there is to it.
