the story is so scary but the movie feels like it’s focused on the wrong things??? like it just didn’t feel cohesive but im kinda glad because i watched it before bed, so if the tone fit the gravity of the plot i would’ve cried myself to sleep.
i hate that the girl knew to she had a better chance to live by lying to him and coddling him like that. do you know how terrible it is that you have to baby the man who assaulted you to survive? that bit was so triggering i nearly threw up!

unfortunately this movie is very much so a product of its time but it’s my fave Fast movie. the color grading is sooooooo hot we need to start making movies look like this again. and it gave us such good music! i would resurrect and sacrifice paul walker for a sequel to tokyo drift
