I had heard good things about this but it still took me completely by surprise.
Brilliant adult animated sci-fi that never looks down on its audience.
So many great futuristic details in every scene matched by a police investigation that keeps getting deeper into the rabbit hole wrapped up in some deep psychological questions and thoughts by the end.

The First Omen 2024
Watched the original classic "The Omen" recently and loved it. In no way did I expect this to live up to it instead of being mostly a cash grab using The Omen's name, but thankfully it does and arguably surpasses. That's what happens in the rare occasions a prequel like this is made by people who are actually passionate about the original material.
Also Nell Tiger Free's performance couldn't get any better, amazing.

Godzilla Minus One 2023
So much more than your typical action movie. A great redemption war/drama story which just happens to have a badass looking giant as its anthagonist. It's so clear this is a passion project. How does it look like this with a 15M$ budget? How did they make me care so much for the human characters in a monster movie? No idea, but please make more stuff like this.
