A very good-looking film. Not to be watched through moralistic glasses. Some people seem to have strong negative opinions about Travis, and let those opinions dictate their overall feelings towards the film.
I will say, I didn't find myself very invested in the story. I did find the ending quite emotional though. It was beautiful as a stand-alone moment, but sad in the broader context.
As a mood piece it's chill, as a narrative it's whatever.
Edit: I can't stop thinking about how much I hate this movie. It crosses a line for me. Hyper realistic graphic depictions of violent murders. And based upon a real event. Shown from the killers perspective. Victims existing solely to be dispatched. And released only 3 years after the events it is based upon! I find that disrespectful. Unbelievably bad. The scene where Lady Raven takes Cooper's phone, locks herself in the bathroom, then goes live on social media to save the hostage is definitely one of the dumbest movie scenes of all time. I was laughing out loud though. If you were involved in the production of this movie in any form, you should be embarrassed.
