Still not fully sold on this as an all-timer, though its certainly solid. For something that is so much about the destructive nature of obsession and the possibility of never knowing, the ending sure leaves us feeling like there's a bow on this whole endeavor.

First time I picked up on "She will help you out of pity" being a big flag for what kind of pragmatic weasel Leonard is capable of being (though I guess his job as an insurance investigator probably should have been the bigger tipoff). He only writes that down after he tells a version of his sob story expressly designed to evoke that pity, not after he learns that she might have a reason to sympathize.
I get the feeling I'm going to get in trouble for this opinion.
The sound design on this baby is amazing. Cillian Murphy is damn good in the lead role, and Nolan knows exactly how to deploy Matt Damon. The middle third is a very engaging, albeit not revolutionary, telling of the Los Alamos story. A bomb does indeed blow up real good.
