Nolan is my favorite there’s not much to say that wouldn’t sound like pure fanboying. His movies leave me emotional, in awe, wanting more. The writing, cinematography, score, performances are always second to none. Matt Damon as an antagonist is super underrated too!

Watched at the theatre with my little cuz so didn’t keep a lot of notes. Took the movie a little bit to catch its footing but when it does it’s a classic tale that maybe some good can come out of the bad. Funny and a great time for the kids. There is a shot towards the end during a showdown between two characters where the aspect ratio slowly gets smaller which I very much enjoyed and thought was clever.…

The best films are the ones that don’t even feel like films but rather stepping into another real persons life for a few hours. Guerilla filmmaking at its best, amazing performances; glad my buddy showed me this one day after getting hammered at the pool because it is a great depiction of brotherhood too. Even better to rewatch :)
