Loki’s change into ”the hero” is so much rushed it almost makes no sense imo.
In the movies, Loki’s development is connected to his family, which is likely the cause of the start of his “villainy”; in the show he just goes from a pompous Shakesperian villain/hero to an average guy. Even his status as the god of mischief is rarely mentioned.
