I loved this movie. Heartfelt and sincere, Turning Red captures the distinct 'cringe' of early adolescence and frames it as something innocent and natural, rather than something to be ashamed of, and I think that's an extremely important message for not just children to hear but for people of all ages, both to alleviate that retrospective shame you can feel when looking back at your child self, and to normalize these things to adults who look at children being children…

The Menu 2022
A fun, clever, and riveting movie with excellent performances all around. The Menu manages to capture a sense of genuine dread and suspense along with an abundance of humour that lands really well, without having either element take away from the other—in fact, I'd say the horror and comedic element work very well in tandem to elevate each other, and the movie wouldn't work nearly as well if it was entirely serious, or entirely comedic.
