  I would confidently say Aftersun is my kind of film. Subtle with a really focus on portraying the complexities of human relationships and memory.

  Sophie Corrin was great, it was very easy to place yourself in her shoes and see life through the eyes of a pre teen. Especially if you’ve visited that kind of holiday environment. 

  I like films that follow similar functions to good books. They keep you watching but leave you with a lot to analyse allowing you to make of it what you will.

  This film really didn’t sit right with me. It lacked subtly, I was also uneasy with the picture it painted of working class people in rural Scotland. It showed them to be inherently unintelligent and closed minded.
