When a film starts out with a Take That song playing at full volume in a strip club, you know you’re in for an experience.
The sheer excess of dialogue built an insane level of immersion, it must’ve felt like a serious assault on the eardrums in theatres; in the best way.
The last 20 minutes I really had no idea where it was going to leave us, but the unexpected and contrasting quiet in the last scene was utterly heartbreaking in its own right.
