It was exactly what I expected I have to say.
It wasn't bad just very Hollywood. The 1979 one is by far better

So upsetting and beautiful.
Imo this was perfectly done.

Bobby Sands, Bobby Sands, Bobby Sands.... What can I say. Truly gut wrenching.
Should the Iron Lady be considered a murderer?
Is killing innocent lives the price to pay in order to acquire basic human needs?

Boy where do I even start. I read the book then decided I should compare the movie to it. Disappointment is an understatement at this point. They didn't even try to conceal the lack of effort they put to accurately depict Japanese culture. It felt like going to a made up 1920's Kyoto in Vegas. Also the acting was so mediocre.
Read the book tho ( I know this is a movie review website shut up)
