  Damn I thought Christmas was over, but Mr soderbergh had some more presence for me under the tree.

  Yesterday I saw the brand new Steven Soderbergh film Presence. And I was presently surprised. I was thinking a lot about this line:

  “There’s an excellent man inside you Tyler, I’d love to see him soon”

  This is bloody brilliant not only because it just goes hard, but also because Tyler is the presence so his dad literally can’t see his excellence, as it’s yet to happen. Good movie.

  Little Shop of Horrors 1986

  ★★★★½ Rewatched 07 Oct 2024

  Only watched the last 40 minutes or so -

  This is one of my favorite films. Possibly the best puppetry of all time. One of the greatest musical soundtracks ever. The bass in the supper time theme is so incredible. The colors and direction are perfect. And the last 10 minutes of the directors cut is one of the most brilliant exhilarating endings ever put to film.

  The first part of this film consisting of music videos and these little connecting bits is incredible. The Gaspar Noé directed sequence may be my favorite, even if I am a huge NWR fan and loved his contribution too. These are undoubtedly the craziest visuals I've seen all year.

  The second bit of the film is good too, but it is just a performance and not as heavily edited as the first obviously. This part of the film is shot…
