  I was kinda rapt for the first 45 and then started to actively despise this fucking room. 18 year old Tom Hanks getting caught making out is a crime but the ending basically worked for me.

  Does Robert Zemeckis like the Beatles????

  I attended the 50th anniversary re-release at the Odeon Holloway Road. The screening started with a pre-taped presentation of interviews and live renditions of songs from the film presented by Edith Bowman. So many people got up to complain that they eventually turned it off mid-song and started the film earlier than planned.

  I'm not a patriotic man but that experience followed by this masterpiece of a folk horror both give me a good reason to reconsider that position.
