  Upon rewatch this is virtually flawless.

  This film is excruciatingly intense. The ending feels like picking yourself up after a 3 hour session of Bulgarian split squats finishing the final drum solo.

  Music teacher Terrence Fletcher spots something in raw, but talented young drummer Andy Niemann, desperate to get to the top, Andy makes several sacrifices, to strive for greatness.

  Picked up the extended version of Apocalypse Now for Christmas and it was definitely worth the £20 as this version is much better than the standard version.

  I definitely liked the standard version of this film it was in my top 100 films of all time…
