Kraven the Hunter 2024
Part of me is going to miss the Sony Marvel movies. They're so odd, misguided and just plain bad.
Do I enjoy this era of Russell Crowe? Apparently.
Did the makers of this think they were going to get a follow up to include Jackyl and have Chameleon be the next antagonist? They should have kept it in th family instead of outsource Rhino.

Alien: Romulus 2024
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
There is so much to love about this. But it's almost singlehandedly ruined by the never ending need to have callbacks and "cameos". A character could have performed the same task without wearing a CGI face.
Also THAT line is completely out of place.
When Romulus is doing it's own thing it's great. Whenever there's a callback, it misses the mark. If this is what audiences want than I feel even more alienated from "sensibilities".
