Good, pretty wholesome fun with an endearing charm to it. Falls into the usual Marvel pitfalls from the middle onwards which is a shame but this was still a good time.

Grand Theft Hamlet 2024
Felt more scripted than expected as a documentary but when it’s off the cuff it’s a lot of fun and pretty creative. Moments that bring a sense of community and reflections on lockdown are special and it’s cool to see that captured like this, it just felt a bit janky as a finished project.

Interesting insight into bokashi (or fogging as I know it) that makes you think about representation, images as vehicles, and what repression / censorship actually means when in dialogue with what it is censoring. Started off thinking this was a pointless artsy short but it held my attention throughout and gave me something to consider for my own work (the individuality of administrative eyes, everydayness of big picture concepts, etc etc…)
