Una de las fotografías más hermosas que he visto. La textura es tan rica y detallada que parece cobrar vida. Es increíble ver cómo pasa de tonos apagados a cálidos y de planos tan íntimos a monumentales, llena de contrastes impresionantes. Esta es la segunda vez que la veo en cines y podría verla más. Qué envidia de quienes tuvieron la suerte de ver alguna proyección analógica. No me importa si pierde algo de fuerza en su segunda mitad, pocas veces se logra una experiencia tan arquitectónica y perfecta, tanto en lo visual como en lo musical. Que súper regrese el VistaVision.

Nosferatu 2024
Eggers tiene un gran ojo para el diseño de producción y los detalles históricos. Sus tonos fríos y sombras marcadas, sumado con colores desaturados casi tirándole a blanco y negro, la hacen casi palpable. Quedé impresionado con lo divertida que es a pesar de sus temas (el personaje de Dafoe una joya). Pero cada detalle le suma para bien. Densa, incómoda y súper inmersiva.

this always hits me in so many ways. it shows that there's no definitive answer to what it means to be the "worst" or the "best" person, as we're all imperfect, messy and contradictory. it makes me think of the endless possibilities that lie ahead and the importance of embracing change, while knowing that it's okay to make mistakes along the way. ultimately, one's path is just an ongoing journey and this film reflects the complexity of it.

it really is exhilarating to watch IMAX-sized close-ups of Cillian. he totally nails the role of someone haunted by his own work, using only his eyes and facial expressions. it's a masterpiece on a technical level and a unique big-screen experience, but like most of Nolan's films, the expository dialogue and excessively long narrative drained me by the end. still, the way he tells the story, switching between perspectives, makes you think about Oppenheimer in many different ways. is he a humanist or a warmonger, a strategist or a martyr? it's so intriguing and thought-provoking. one of his most interesting works.
