  holy fuck man rob patt man i mean wow and toni collette man wow

  grotesque and unsettling at times, hilarious at others. ruminating on some things for sure but classic bong joon ho fuck-capitalism themes while the absurdism is undercut with a grim dose of the human reality of 2025. it's not bong's best obviously but it's got the sauce.

  really wanted to show this to my family. 5 minutes in, my dad got up from the couch and went to his computer at my desk where he “turned on” youtube and fell asleep. another fifteen minutes and we paused the movie because my mom wanted to clear the table and get ready for bed before finishing. eventually, we hit play again and about three and a half hours after we started the movie, we finished it. what a great movie.
