A bit better than the first. More confident, much better action, cooler worldbuilding. But it's definitely more of the same. Also it's really hard to believe the stakes of the story and that anyone can force John to do anything, considering he seems to just be able to kill everyone

Of course they picked the cutest dog possible. Fuck.
Yeah, this was really good. It is very fun to watch this one guy tear everything up. But this definitely feels like a "first movie", due to how simple the plot is and how lowkey the action is, so I am interested to see how or if the sequels improve on it.
Also Sonic 3's characterization of Shadow is clearly based on John Wick and that is hilarious
