Queer 2024
In some ways Lynchian at times, I really enjoyed it. I felt like Frank at the end of The Always Sunny Episode as the credits rolled on this with the “I get it” meme.
I have so much to discuss but for me, this was great. Daniel Craig a true standout too. There’s a point in this film where he communicates so much through just his face. Superb.

The Help 2011
A team up between Viola Davis and Emma Stone is generational acting talent together.
Unfortunately I’m not sure I think a film that addresses race issues through a predominantly white perspective is revolutionary (and arguably somewhat offensive). I don’t think it does the latter (like Green Book does), but I don’t think this movie moves the needle (like something like Nickel Boys and many others do).
