    She’s nice because she’s rich.”

    Yes, I love the depiction of the spiral of psychosis that poverty can bring — because the smallest inconvenience like a rainstorm can upend what little you have — compared to the peace of mind and naivety money allows you to have and not face any consequences.

    But this doesn’t get the credit it deserves for being one of the all-time great thrillers. Not enough stars on this app for this one.
